About Me

Hello, my name is Helen Birtwistle, based near Clitheroe in the beautiful Ribble Valley area of Lancashire. As your Personal Travel Counsellor I am committed to offering exceptional customer service.

There's nothing I like more than suggesting itineraries and putting holidays together, which is why tailor made trips are my speciality. I've recently arranged trips to Australia, New Zealand , South Africa, including a Safari holiday as well as helping to plan a USA trip to Boston and New England.

We get some great cruise deals at Travel Counsellors and I will be happy to help you choose the right ship and itinerary to suit you. I've cruised with P&O, NCL, Saga and Royal Caribbean and in May 2011 I spent 7 wonderful nights on board P&O's Ventura cruising the Norwegian Fjords. I also visit new ships where possible, so that I have first hand knowledge and can give informed advice.

My most recent trip was to Halifax, Nova Scotia and Toronto & Niagara Falls. Atlantic Canada is only 5 hours or so by air from the UK and well worth a visit - great scenery, open roads and lovely beaches. Ideal for a family with older children or for a couple who like to explore on their own and go to a lesser known destination.
