St. Lucia, one word to sum it all up would be GORGEOUS! We stayed at the Sandals Regency in Castries, and enjoyed a Garden View Suite with our own private pool!! The resort was great! We got to visit and eat at the other two Sandals hotels as well! The food was unbelieveably good. My favorite was the French La Toc!

We took a Catamaran over to Soufree and I got to see a sea turtle weighing around 200 pounds! I love turtles and this one was amazing!! Soufree is even more breathtaking than I had imagined. Whilst here we visited the Volcano - the only drive through volcano in the world. It was pretty smelly but what a site to see. The volcano is inactive so there were 'NO worries', as the St.Lucians say quite frequently!! We walked through the Botanical Gardens where we saw the gorgeous, famous waterfall. This waterfall has appeared in both Superman II and Romancing the Stone! Two huge Hollywood blockbusters!

I can not recommend this Island enough! I also cannot wait to go back as it is my favorite Caribbean Island! If you are looking for a quaint, romantic place, St. Lucia is a great choice! I found that the Island is really not that appealing for families with children, so I would let this be an adult only trip! I certainly enjoyed every minute of my visit here.
