Discovering Ibiza
Portinatx is a quiet, family resort with nice little coves, stunning views with regular buses to get around the island. Making full use of our car, we spent our week touring the rest of the island.
One of the highlights was going to Ibiza Old Town and Dalt Vila. Perched high above the Old Town, Dalt Vila (High Town) is well worth the climb. From the top there are stunning views out to sea and over Ibiza and the climb up is amazing walking through winding cobbled streets. I also took the boat over to Formentera which only takes about half an hour and well worth a visit.
We were told not to miss out on seeing the sun set from San Antonio so we made sure we got a perfect spot outside Cafe del Mar and we weren't disappointed.
The hippy market in Es Cana on Wednesday was amazing! There was stall after stall of original, fun and funky clothing, gifts and keepsakes intermingled with musicians, food stalls and street artists. We loved it!
Santa Eulalia was quite up market with a lovely harbour and spotless promenade and beach...and a lot of shops! I took a yoga class whilst I was there which was amazing and happy to recommend this or give you more information if you are looking to do some yoga. I also spent a leisurely afternoon at Atzaro Spa which was just blissful and a great place to go and chill out.
We even managed to pop in at the closing party at El Chiringuito in Es Cavallet - a lovely beach fronted restaurant down in the south of the island.
I loved Ibiza and think there is something for everyone - and so much more to go for than clubbing!
