I began working 4 years ago in a storefront agency, but found myself having to miss many of my kid’s activities that in the long run I knew I would regret. That is why I decided to become a Travel Counsellor and work from home. This allows me the flexibility to be available to my family when needed, but at the same time, my work hours are not limited to your average 9-5 weekday. I can work evenings or weekends if necessary. Although I’ve only been in the business for 4 years, I am always looking for opportunities to learn and experience more to share with my clients.
Many people believe that it is necessary to meet face to face with their travel agent, but I can provide you the same service and I will be available to you on your schedule. The other myth many people believe is that you pay more when using a travel agent. As a Travel Counsellor, I have greater access to deals and competitive pricing. Occasionally you might find a better deal on the internet, but you will not receive the customer service and personal attention I can give you.
I can help you with any domestic or international travel needs including: weekend getaways, family/ romantic vacations, destination weddings/ honeymoons, spa getaways, or that perfect luxury vacation you’ve been dreaming of. Being of Greek heritage, I have extensive knowledge about travel in Greece and have planned many vacation packages to Greece.
I love what I do, and when I can’t travel myself, I enjoy planning the perfect vacation for my clients. My biggest pleasure is upon the return from their vacation and hearing about their experiences. In a few years when I am able to take more time, my goals are to travel more to exotic locations like Africa, India, and Russia among other countries and islands, so keep checking back for some of my travel journals.
