Prague 2017

We travelled to the Beautiful city of Prague July 2017 for five nights and based ourselves in The Jurys Inn. The hotel was great, clean, modern and about a 15-minute walk for all the main attractions.

We went everywhere on foot and it was great getting lost among the cobbled back streets of the Old Town and stopping at a few watering holes along the way, taking in the street markets and atmosphere.

We did the hop on hop off bus which was fab and covered all the major sites as well as including a boat ride on The Vltava so we walked over and sailed under Charles Bridge. This was only one of a few ways of seeing the city which can also be done in a vintage open top car.

The cost of living was a little cheaper then home, but the food was really excellent.

I would definitely recommend it and intend to make a return visit.
