Barcelona / Montserrat

Montserrat: What can I say?? If you haven't had the opportunity to visit here , then I can highly recommend it! This mountain is home to one of the most important religious sites in Spain. A residence for the Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat,

It is located approximately 45 km northwest of Barcelona. So if you are staying in either Barcelona/Costa Dorada or the Costa Brava then you are within easy reach to visit.

We also got tickets to the Champions League game in Barcelona, have to say this was one of the highlights.....

Lastly we travelled to the resort of Cambrils with the most amazing Seafood Restaurants ( we actually had to come back to dine in the same restaurant, the food was that delicious)! the resort itself has a well-deserved reputation as the culinary capital of the Costa Dorada and I have to agree!
